We had our inaugural CAJUN FEST on March 23rd and 24th, 2019.

For this event, a lot of our vendors extended their menus to offer Frisco a wide variety of delicious flavors of New Orleans over the course of the weekend (or until supplies lasted)! The Taste of Mari Gras offered crawfish, shrimp, turkey necks, sausage, corn, potatoes and their famous garlic butter.

The Po Boy Place had a delicious assortment of Po Boys, such as the Peacemaker, Hot Sausage, Roast Beef and NOLA Standard. Crunchies Eggrolls spiced up the weekend with their Asian Salt and Pepper Shrimp and famous eggrolls with spice dipping sauce.

Ms. Bettie’s Gumbo had her awesome gumbo (to enjoy at the market or to-go) and of course all our other vendors were there for the fun as well! We also had a Mardi Gras themed photo-op set up in the market for customer and vendors to take pictures and a DJ for some live and interactive entertainment.

We look forward to making this an annual event and can’t wait to see the delicious menu add-ons our vendors come up with next time! LAISSEZ LE BON TEMPS ROULER (LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL)!
